Privacy policy

RUUM Audio ApS is the data controller. We only use your personal data to deliver your order, reply to you and, with your consent, for statistics and marketing.

What data, and why

  • Orders, delivery, payment and returns: name, address, email, phone, order and payment details. Legal basis: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Kept for 5 years after the end of the financial year (Danish Bookkeeping Act).
  • Customer service and contact form: name, email, phone and your message. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Kept for 24 months after the last contact.
  • Newsletter: email. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Statistics: use of the site via cookies. Legal basis: consent.
  • Marketing and ads: cookie ID and purchase events. Legal basis: consent.

Recipients
We only share what is necessary with suppliers that process data on our behalf: Shopify (webshop and payment via Shopify Payments, including cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay), PostNord and UPS (delivery) and, if you have given consent, advertising and measurement services such as Google and Meta. Some of these process data outside the EU on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies
We use four types of cookies. You choose which ones you accept in the cookie banner, and you can always change your choice under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

  • Necessary: make the cart, checkout and security work. Do not require consent.
  • Statistics: show us how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Marketing: used to show relevant ads, e.g. on Google and Meta, and to measure whether they work.
  • Preferences: remember your choices, e.g. country and settings.

Without consent, we only set necessary cookies. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so Google is informed of your choice.

Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to the processing, receive it in a portable format (data portability) and withdraw your consent. Write to info@bulowsen.dk. You can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, or with the data protection authority in the country where you live.
